Assessmentinstrumente im Symptommanagement
Die Anwendung von Assessmentinstrumenten im Symptommanagement in Onkologie und Palliative Care gilt als Grundstein für dessen Effektivität. Doch trotz verfügbarer Instrumente sehen Forschende ein Ausbleiben von deren Anwendung. Eine Möglichkeit zur Überwindung dieses Mangels stellt die Anwendung der Edmonton Symptom Assessment Scale (ESAS) dar, welche in der vorliegenden Arbeit beispielhaft vorgestellt wird.
The use of assessment tools in symptom management in oncology and palliative care is considered the cornerstone of its effectiveness. Despite existing instruments, researchers see a lack of their application. One way to overcome this deficiency is the use of the Edmonton Symptom Assessment Scale (ESAS), which is presented in this paper as an example.
